YAKIMA, WA.--It may not be known as the holiday of giving, but one church group in Yakima is trick-or-treating for others.
A few people from St. Paul's Cathedral made Halloween baskets for kids in the pediatrics wing at Memorial Hospital, but before the baskets could be delivered, some good news came that several older kids were discharged.
The church group said they'll still give the baskets to others in need.
"Be mindful of those who are less fortunate because not everybody has that ability to get out there and participate," said Marie Bryant. "Not for a lack of trying but maybe funding."
The group said they're considering dropping the Halloween goodies off at local women's and children's shelter.
