PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) - Police arrested a 46-year-old man following a stabbing at a Pendleton intersection. Pendleton Police Lt. Bill Caldera said in a written statement that the 32-year-old victim underwent surgery Friday at St. Anthony Hospital. Caldera says officers caught Joseph Melow about 20 minutes after 1 a.m. stabbing at the intersection of South Main Street and Court Avenue. He was charged with assault and lodged at the county jail. Both men are Pendleton residents.
