Wednesday Weather Update:
Soaking Rain Event On the Way!

Wednesday: A MUCH calmer start to the day than yesterday...might run across some fog but that's about the only highlight as temperatures are staying above freezing. Expect cloudy skies today, but starting to see some rain by tonight (more on that below) High: 43° (Green)

Wednesday Night: Tropical moisture moving from South to North makes its way onto the lower basin by this evening...could see rain starting around Spokane as early as 9-10pm. Low: 36° (Yellow)

Thursday: Get ready for a SOAKER of a day on Thursday. Chance of moderate to heavy rain across the entire forecast area as we see a combination of tropical moisture coming from the south and a cold front coming from the west. That looks to account for between .25"-.50" of rain for many locations...parts of the northern panhandle could see up to 1"! Heaviest rain looks to be from mid-late morning through early afternoon.High: 45° (Yellow)

SPOKANE, Wash. - Each day and each second that passes makes a north Spokane family even more worried especially with how cold it’s been outside. They’re looking for Hellboy, their 6-year-old hairless cat. “He looks kind of mean and evil with his green eyes but he's really sweet and comes up to people,” says Nick Bitonti. He and his fiancée Nicold are worried sick. “It's just so hard to talk about. He's more than just a cat. He's like a family member..

SPOKANE, Wash. -- To you, it may be an old gym bag, or a backpack full of homework, but all thieves see is a potential gold mine unmanned in your car. It's a year-round problem in our community, but Black Friday is like Christmas for crooks. "I came back to my car and the window was broke out, everything was gone from the jockey box," said one car prowling victim. "It made me angry, it's a violation."
