Sex Offender Living on East A Street in Yakima

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, WA - The Yakima County Sheriff's Office wants you to know about a level three sex offender now living in the area.

Deputies say 34-year-old Jamey Allen Mackebon now lives on the 20th block of East A Street in Yakima.

Deputies say he also goes by the aliases Jaime Allen Edwards, James Boulds, and Jamie Allen Edwards.

Mackebon was convicted of voyeurism back in June of 2003, and February of 2011.

He is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. Deputies say the purpose of these notifications is not to increase fear, but to inform the public.

The individuals who appear in these notifications have been convicted of a sex offense that requires registration with the Sheriff's Office in the county of their residence. Further, their previous criminal history places them in a classification level which reflects the potential to reoffend.

Law Enforcement has no legal authority to direct where a sex offender may or may not live. Unless court ordered restrictions exist, this offender is constitutionally free to live wherever he/she chooses.
