Boy Scouts Food Drive Is Saturday, Nov. 9th And Donating Could Not Be Easier

KHQ.COM - Boy Scouts of America will be out in full force all day Saturday, November 9th collecting non-perishable food items for all area food banks. Anyone in N. Idaho and Eastern Washington are able to participate in the food drive and donating could not be easier. To donate, simply place non-perishable food items in a sturdy bag and leave them by your front door.

All boy scout troops have been assigned specific neighborhoods and together they will covering almost every home in the Inland NW. All of the food will be donated to local area food banks.

Jack and Warren Christian say in a letter published by Slate late Wednesday that the removal of the Jackson statue and other Confederate monuments on Richmond's famed Monument Avenue will "necessarily further difficult conversations about racial justice."
