Free Diabetes Screening In Yakima Next Weekend

YAKIMA, WA-- Next Saturday you can get a free diabetes screening in Yakima.

The screening will be between 8:00 in the morning and noon at Memorial Hospital's Community Education Center in Yakima.

The hospital said one in 11 people in Yakima has been diagnosed with diabetes, and one in three has pre-diabetes, which means they have higher than normal blood sugar levels.
