Home Invasion Suspect Armed With Knife On The Loose In Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. - Police belief the man involved in the home invasion may have been trying to steal medical marijuana from the home.  They say he is not a risk to the general public.  The suspect is still at large.

Spokane Police are searching for a home invasion suspect armed with a knife. 

They say the suspect tried to enter a home on the 2000 block of East Longfellow.  Officers have blocked off the area of Wellesley and Crestline all the way to Lacrosse as they search for the suspect.   Right now officers say the woman was the only person at home at the time of the home invasion.  It is unknown whether she was harmed.  The suspect is described as a skinny white male.  He is wearing a black hoodie with white writing on it, blue jeans, and a ski mask.  It is unknown if the suspect was able to take anything from the home.  The investigation is ongoing.
