PROSSER, WA. - Dozens lined the streets of Prosser Monday for their annual veterans day parade.

Monday's event included the Prosser High Marching Band, several vintage military vehicles, and a military color guard. Prosser residents tell NBC Right Now they take a lot of pride in hosting events like this.

"It's a wonderful celebration for the veterans in our community and I'm proud that our city takes the time and sets it aside to do that," said Debbie Breitenfeldt, proud to honor veterans.

Prosser's veterans day events started with their annual free breakfast for vets at Keene Riverview Elementary School.
