Tri-Cities, WA - A local coffee shop is helping the fight against hunger here in the Tri-Cities. Starting Monday Roasters Coffee is accepting non-perishable food donations.
They will be giving them to Second Harvest Food Bank.
If you take a food donation to any of the four Roasters Coffee locations You can get $1 off your drink.
Organizers said it is just another way to bring the community together to help those in need.
"Every year we like to set up different types of donations for people to get involved with not just where we give money but to help the community get involved too so we give them the change to donate, feel good about it and give them the incentive to come in," said Terryn Turner, Roasters Coffee Store Manager.
