Ki-Be High School Releases Students Early: Water Heater Problem

Posted: Updated:

BENTON CITY, WA - The Kiona-Benton City School District says students at Ki-Be High School will be released at 11:55 Tuesday morning because of a water heater problem.

District leaders say after consulting with the Benton County Health Department, they decided releasing high school students early would be the best choice for general health precautions.

Ki-Be says the repairs will be completed Tuesday, but it will take the afternoon for the water to heat to the required temperatures.

The high school says school buses will arrive at Ki-Be to take students home when they're released just before noon.

The district expects classes to resume at the regular time on Wednesday, November 13th.

Again, students at Ki-Be High School will be released early on Tuesday, November 12th, at 11:55 A.M.
