Reed Released By Texans

The popular National Football League hard-hitting safety, Ed Reed, was released by the Houston Texans on Tuesday.

Reed had just signed with the Texans this season after spending all of his career playing for the Baltimore Ravens. Following what was Houston's seventh-straight loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Reed made a disparaging comment about his team. He then laid down the straw that broke the camel's back on Monday when he vindicated what he said.

After Houston's defeat to the Cardinals, Reed told reporters that the Texans had been, "outplayed and outcoached."

On Monday Reed said he, "spoke the truth."

On Tuesday, he didn't have a job.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle announced the release of the nine-time Pro Bowl, eight-time All-Pro and the 2004 AP Defensive Player of the Year on Twitter: http://bit.ly/19iiUDp

Reed will most likely be picked up by a team needing safety depth, such as the New England Patriots or the New York Jets, a return to Baltimore isn't out of question either.

Reviewing OOTP '15, Mariners Still Break Hearts in Baseball Video Game

This lengthy build-up leads me to one sincere question: Did the 2001 season doom the Seattle Mariners franchise? If the M's had won the World Series that year, would we be talking about a dynasty? Out of the Park Baseball 15 allows baseball fans to answer that question.
