YAKIMA, WA.--A Yakima Valley Filipino group is working to help the people affected by the devastating typhoon in the Philippines.

Rey Pascua, the President of the Filipino-American Community said a bank account has been set up at Key Bank in Yakima.

Pascua said when the disaster hits home, you want to do all you can to help.

"Wherever it is in the Philippines, we want to certainly get the relief and the response to them," said Pascua.

If you'd like to help, head to Key Bank and ask to make a donation to the "Philippine Super Typhoon Fund." Organizers are also planning a fundraiser dinner in the next two weeks.
