YAKIMA, WA --The 5th grade class at Saint Paul Cathedral School in Yakima re-lived history Thursday.

They put on a live wax museum for the public. Students dressed up as famous explorers from around the world. When people pressed a button next to their character, they told a short story.

"I was born in 1946 in Spain," said Anna Stephenson, dressed as Hernando de Soto. "My family was very poor. A 20th century automobile was named after me based off my original design."

Students were excited to show off their hard work. Their teachers said this is a fun way to learn a little piece of history.
