NBCRightNow.com -- Washington senate leaders are proposing a $12 billion transportation revenue package that includes a gas tax increase of 11.5 cents.

Senate transportation committee co-chair Curtis King of Yakima put together the proposal, which is part of ongoing negotiations between the House and the Senate.

It includes no tolls on Interstate 90 and will also help finish the southern link of the I-90 project along with other transportation construction across the state.
