Field Goal Of The Year: Trick Shot

The kicker from New Canaan HS in Connecticut, Peter Swindell, amazed his teammates after practice one day when he nailed a field goal. Normally not a big deal. But its how he got the ball upright that has everyone in a state of shock and awe.

Swindell flips the ball up from a flat position and gets it spinning and proceeds to strike it through the uprights.

Swindell is no slouch at his position either. According to his MaxPreps stats he is 61-65 kicking point after attempts this season and 8-10 on field goal attempts with a long of 45 yards. A pretty impressive statline for a high school kicker, let alone how impressive his trick kick was and the reception its receiving on the Internet.
