WSP Investigating Rocks Being Thrown At Cars Near Ellensburg On I-90

ELLENSBURG, Wash. -

Troopers with the Washington State Patrol are trying to find the person, or persons, responsible for throwing a rock through the windshield of a car this weekend near Ellensburg. 

WSP says sometime after midnight this past Sunday, rocks were being thrown from the side of the freeway at passing cars. One of those rocks went through a windshield and injured a person. Troopers say several other cars were damaged. 

Troopers are asking that if you saw any cars in the area of the ponds next to I-90 near milepost 108 near Ellensburg during that time from, or if you have any information that might help them identify who did this, please call 509-925-5303 and ask to speak with Trooper Dawn Ferrell.
