KENNEWICK, WA - A few dozen people got a first look at the pieces of art that will soon be part of the Carousel of Dreams.

An exclusive open house at a warehouse in Kennewick showed off the exquisite pieces. The horses are all original pieces and are more than 100 years old. They've been redone and finished and are now up for adoption - for a price.

18 rounding boards will go around the outside. They're painted in alternating blue and purple and will feature photos from a local artist.

"We're getting to that point where we're going to take all these pieces, box them up and actually build a carousel in that big 10,000 square foot structure out in the park," said board chair Eric Van Winkle.

The open house was held from five to seven.
