UPDATE: Deadly Crash Involving Two Semi Trucks In Pend Oreille County

At least one person has been killed in a collision involving two semi trucks on Highway 20, 10 miles north of Cusick in Pend Oreille County, according to the Washington State Patrol. CUSICK, Wash. -

One man was killed after two semi-trucks collided in Pend Oreille County Friday morning. 

Troopers with the Washington State Patrol say 51-year-old James Morton of Benton City was driving his semi-truck southbound on Highway 20 about 13 miles north of Cusick when he crossed the center line and ended up tipping his truck on its side. The semi-truck crashed into a railroad bridge abutment, and was struck by another semi-truck traveling northbound. Morton was killed in the crash. 

The other driver, 45-year-old Michael O'Kelley of Lewiston was not injured in the crash. 

The collision remains under investigation.
