DEVELOPING: Fatal Crash on I-82 Westbound near Prosser
The Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash near Prosser that killed one woman.
PROSSER, WA - The Washington State Patrol has released the name of the woman killed in a car crash near Prosser Friday morning along I-82.
Troopers say they believe the car blew a tire, causing it to lose control, and roll several times. Tina Maya, 33, of Kennewick was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing her seatbelt.
The other two women in the car were family members. Paramedics took them to the Prosser Hospital with injuries.

The State Patrol says three females, all in the same family, were driving a small silver car Friday morning on Interstate 82. Troopers say they believe the car blew a tire, causing it to lose control and crash.
Troopers say the female who died wasn't wearing a seatbelt, she died at the scene. The other two were wearing seatbelts, paramedics took them to Prosser Memorial Hospital. No word yet on their conditions.
As of 9:00 AM, troopers have reopened I-82 at milepost 81, the crash had previously blocked one westbound lane.
The State Patrol hasn't released the names or ages of the people involved, because troopers need to notify their family first.
