NBCRightNow.com - A muddy fun run has raised thousands of dollars for several non-profits in the Tri-Cities.
The second annual Guts 'N Glory Dash raised over $27,000 for The Arc of Tri-Cities, Grace Clinic, and the Richland Firefighters Community Outreach Program.
Guts N Glory Event organizer Randy Aust worked alongside his fellow Richland Firemen, wife Abbey, David Bruce and Carrie DeForest of Bruce Heating and Air to bring the run to the Tri- Cities.
"In the second year for this event we appreciated the generous support of major sponsors like Bruce Heating and Air, McCurley Integrity Subaru and the Downs Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbiawho did our Kid's Run. Next year we are hoping for continued growth with more teams and sponsors." Randy said.
The run happened in September and featured a military style obstacle course for runners across muck and mire terrain. For more information on the run, click here.
