CUSICK, WA - A Benton City man was killed after two semi-trucks collided in Pend Oreille County Friday morning.

Troopers with the Washington State Patrol say 51-year-old James Morton of Benton City was driving his semi-truck southbound on Highway 20 about 13 miles north of Cusick when he crossed the center line and ended up tipping his truck on its side.

The semi-truck crashed into a railroad bridge abutment, and was struck by another semi-truck traveling northbound. Morton was killed in the crash.

The other driver, 45-year-old Michael O'Kelley of Lewiston was not injured in the crash.

The collision remains under investigation.
