Moses Lake Man Busted for Meth, Conspiring to Deliver Heroin

Posted: Updated:

MOSES LAKE, WA - A meth bust in Moses Lake landed one Moses Lake man in cuffs early Monday morning.

Detectives from Grant County's Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team with the assistance of Officers from the Moses Lake Police Department conducted an undercover sting operation and arrested yet another drug dealer in Moses Lake.

50-year-old Jesus "Jesse" Gomez was arrested around 3 a.m. Monday morning near Stratford Road and Valley Road Northeast.

INET and Moses Lake Police arrested Gomez after he allegedly delivered methamphetamine in a school zone and conspired to deliver heroin -- both of which are felonies.

If convicted of these charges, the school zone enhancements alone would place Gomez in prison for at least two years.

The arrest of Gomez was the result of seamless teamwork by INET Detectives, Moses Lake Police, and Grant County Sheriff's Deputies. This case is a demonstration of the longstanding example of cooperation, information sharing, and suppression of criminal activity by police agencies in Grant County.
