KENNEWICK, WA - NBC Right Now continues to dig deeper into the recent attack that has hit our region. If you have shopped at a Yokes Fresh Market or Rosauers recently you could be a victim and not even know it.

The scam has hit dozens of people in the Tri-Cities. We know this thanks to the many comments on our Facebook page Monday after we first posted this story. Computer hackers have been able to break into the network of URM stores incorporated, which owns several properties throughout the northwest including Yoke's and Rosauers. We have received reports of money being spent as far away as Puerto Rico.

Apparently no one is off limits. Radio personality Reka from Reka and Gunner in the morning on Power 99.1 is out $1,000 currently.

"I got a call from my credit union. They said ‘you withdrew $1,000 in Tennessee' and so I said ‘I did what in Tennessee?'" explained Robinson.  "'You went to the ATM at Sun Trust bank in Hickson, Tennessee' but I had never heard of that before. They said ‘you withdrew $1,000' and I said, ‘no I didn't!'"

If you have shopped at a Yokes or a Rosauers recently, check your billing statements. For now, the stores will not accept debit or credit cards, and customers will need to pay by cash or check. Unless if you want to wait in long lines to pay on a secure dial-up debit and credit card machine.
