Central Washington University's Annual Holiday Gift Project is once again helping hundreds of underprivileged kids in Kittitas County. Central Washington University's Annual Holiday Gift Project is once again helping hundreds of underprivileged kids in Kittitas County.

ELLENSBURG, WA -- Central Washington University's Annual Holiday Gift Project is once again helping hundreds of underprivileged kids in Kittitas County.

Staffers and students pick out a gift that's on the child's wish list. Staffers said Central athletes find the project a meaningful way to give back to the community.

    The Memorial Foundation and Virginia Mason Memorial hospital recently received a $25,000 grant from The Anthem Foundation to help reduce the high rate of infant mortality on the Yakama Indian Reservation.
