Homeowner Interrupts Burglars In Spokane Valley

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: On Wednesday, November 26th, 2013, just after midnight, Sheriff's Deputy Randy Watts responded to a residential burglary call near the 6600 block of Mt. Vernon Road. 

Deputy Watts spoke with the homeowner who said she heard the dog barking outside and also heard two male voices. She said she thought it was her son returning home until she walked out into the garage and saw a tall white male with a black beard get into a blue Subaru style sedan in her driveway and leave. 

She said the suspects entered through a doggy door and had opened both roll up doors.
