YAKIMA, WA. -- A fire in Yakima sent another house up in flames this morning, causing $80,000 in damage.
Neighbors sent NBC Right Now dramatic pictures of the house as the fire consumed it around 7 o'clock in the morning. Firefighters were on scene this afternoon making sure the house was safe and secure however, they do believe it is a total loss.
"I just saw the entrance, the door, with fire but it wasn't anything big," neighbor Laura Ramirez said. "It was just something small. But then 5 minutes went by and it was something huge."
The fire started when an electric heater, too close to a bed, caught the blankets on fire. Seven people living in apartments inside the building are now displaced. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
