RICHLAND, WA - NBC Right Now brought you the story of a Richland home destroyed by a fire over the holiday weekend. Sunday the scene looked like a completely different place.

Crews were on Symons Street all Saturday long. After the fire was completely out, which took twelve hours in total, the site was bulldozed and the contents of the home scattered.

"Firefighters got here within 4 or 5 minutes and they did amazing," explained neighbor Brooke Christ. "They were here...there were several shift changes, but some of them stayed all day long. They did amazing, I can't believe how well they did."

The homeowners are now staying in a hotel and have been to the site to collect a few personal belongings like pictures that were salvageable.
