FIRST ON KHQ.COM: Firefighter Injured While Attacking Fire In Northeast Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. -

KHQ.COM - A Spokane firefighter was hurt Monday morning in N. Spokane while putting out a fire. It happened around 4am in the 700 block of N. Stone. The structure that caught fire was being used a lawn care business. No one was inside when the fire broke out.

The female firefighter hurt her knee and was immediately taken to the hospital. It's not clear how the fire started.

A person delivering papers in the area saw the flames and dialed 911.

News outlets report 19-year-old Andrew Clayton Henckel from Kerrville, Texas, appeared in court north of Seattle Wednesday. Authorities say Dayvid Pakko's body was found Tuesday after an overnight search.
