Posted: Updated:

WALLA WALLA, WA - Walla Walla Police say officers are looking for the gang members who shot two men on Saturday afternoon.

Officers say around 4:30 PM, they learned a man with a gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital.

Minutes later, police say they found a second man with a gunshot wound at an apartment complex near the 200 block of Eagan.

Police say the two 21-year-old men were both shot twice with a handgun, but their injuries are not life threatening.

Officers say the two men had been walking in the area, when two people challenged them. Police say the gunfire also struck a home in the area.

Officers say Gang Detectives from the Special Teams Unit  have now taken over the investigation, because the two men who were shot are known gang members.
