City of Richland Employees Collect Gifts for Foster Children
RICHLAND, WA - Over 100 foster children will have a better Christmas, thanks to a group of employees who work for the city of Richland.
The City Attorney's Administrative Specialist got other employees excited about the project last year, sponsoring 113 foster kids.
This year they've got gifts for even more, 125 children will get a special surprise.
City of Richland Communications & Marketing Manager Trisha Herron said, "It's an amazing response. I have four children and I can't imagine what it would be like if they didn't have a holiday. There are 125 kids now that are going to be getting a holiday because of our City of Richland employees."
The volunteers delivered the gifts to workers with the Guardian Ad Litem program Monday.
