RICHLAND, WA. - You can help make a local child's Christmas a little brighter this year. Three Rivers Family Medicine is the proud home of a Salvation Army Angel Tree.
The tree is covered with paper angels and each one contains a gift request from a local child in need. There are more than 120 kids who need help this winter.
"It makes me feel really good. When I was younger, my parents didn't want gifts. They wanted us to buy gifts for kids in need instead. So for me it's been a tradition for a long time that my parents had started for us to give children that need gifts at Christmas time because we know it's difficult," said Pam Vanourek, Three Rivers Family Medicine.
This is the second year they've partnered with the Salvation Army for the project and there are lots of angels left on the tree. If you'd like to help, visit their office at 945 Goethals Drive.
