LOOK: Davenport Hotel Lights Up With The Christmas Tree Elegance Raffle

SPOKANE, Wash. - Christmas Tree Elegance is a raffle of 18 themed custom-decorated trees with prizes that include gift certificates, items and cash. Each prize package includes the decorated tree and its gifts and is valued at approximately $5,000. Raffle tickets are $1 each.

  • Davenport Hotel – Daily from 10 am to 9 pm
  • River Park Square – Daily from 10 am to Mall closing

All of the proceeds raised benefit the Spokane Symphony.

    OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - State officials will ease restrictions on recreational campfires because of recent rain and cooler temperatures. The Washington State Department of Natural Resources said in a news release Tuesday that effective Wednesday, campfires will be allowed in approved fire pits in campgrounds on Washington lands protected by the agency.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami says an Air Force Reserve hurricane hunter plane took the reading Tuesday evening as the storm was about 70 miles (115 kilometers) southeast of St. Croix.
