Auto Theft/00 blk N Quincy St- Complainant reported that his 1984 Datsun Pickup was
stolen during the night. While at the scene investigating, Officers learned that the
vehicle had been recovered by Walla Walla County and was the suspect vehicle in a
burglary. Parked across the street from his house was a white 2000 Ford Explorer that
was stolen out of Pasco. Pasco PD was contacted reference the Ford Explorer, KPD
assisted with recovery and return of the Ford Explorer to the owner.
 
Disturbance/700 blk N Center Park Way- Officers contacted a male, a school parent,
and the school principal. He had been walking his kid to school and crossed outside the
designated crossing lane. The school employee working crossing duty confronted the
male advising that he was not setting a good example for the kids. His response was
that he is 6'01". Today he arrived at the school and entered the school without getting
a visitors badge at the front desk. He was confronted by the principal who advised he
needed a visitor badge. He did not go further into the school and stood by once advised
police were responding. He advised that his statement to the employee was not meant
in any threatening manner. All indications were that he was rude, however not a threat.
The importance of following school rules was explained and he was trespassed from the
school until 01/01/14 to allow him the opportunity to show he would no longer cause
any concerns. He agreed abide by the trespass order.

Auto Theft/100 blk E 41st Pl- Employee reported that one of their vehicles had been
stolen from this location. The vehicle is a white 2007 Chevy Truck, flatbed with license
#B00263Z. No suspects.
 
A-Shift
 
Suicidal Subject/2500 blk Columbia Park Trail-Yakima SO contacted SECOMM and
advised of a possible location of a suicidal male out of their agency. Officer Rees located
the vehicle and the male was detained. He took 20 blood pressure pills and was
transported to Trios Health. He was admitted to the hospital and Crisis Response will be
evaluating him.

Missing Person/400 blk S Johnson St- Officer Rosane contacted the complainant in
reference to a missing persons report. She advised that at approximately 1630 hours
her husband left the residence in their vehicle. She stated that he has dementia and has
not driven in years. His cell phone indicated he was in the area of Wasco County OR on
highway 97. OSP was notified and they eventually located him near US 97 and US 197,
he had run out of gas. OSP transported him to the Dalles where family was going to pick
him up.

Warrant Service/100 blk N Ely St- Cpl Newton was patrolling the parking lot when he
observed a suspicious vehicle. He ran the plate and the registered owner returned with
a warrant. Cpl Newton contacted her inside the store and arrested her without
incident.

Auto Theft/1400 blk S Lincoln- Complainant found her white 2007 Ford Expedition(WA-WSU7727 ) missing from the driveway this morning along with two credit cards, $70.00
in cash and her two unemployed transient adult sons who were visiting for the holidays.
She suspects they are heading back to Seattle where they are from. Neither has a
license or permission to drive her car or use her credit cards. Vehicle has been entered
as stolen.

    19 year old Travis Dean LeMaster was taken into custody Tuesday evening, June 9, 2015 in the 2400 blk of West Court Street in Pasco WA on charges of 1st Degree Robbery. LeMaster was wanted in connection with the June 6, 2015 Armed robbery that took place in the parking lot of Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick, Washington. Investigators, following up an anonymous tip and with assistance of Pasco Police, located LeMaster and took him into custody.More >>

    On 4/23/2015 at 19:45 Shopko employees saw Jackie Sue Rolph concealing merchandise in a large bag. She left the story without paying for the items to a vehicle waiting for her in the parking log. She entered the vehicle and left the area. A KPD officer arrived in the area and saw the vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and contacted the occupants. A search warrant was served on the vehicle and all the stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to Shopko.
