KENNEWICK, WA - Kennewick Police say the same burglars are continuing to target businesses throughout the city.
Officers say thieves have hit another seven businesses since the weekend.
Police say someone cut the locks off two trailers at Sprague Pest Solutions, however nothing appears to be missing.
Officers say someone also cut the wire on top of a compound fence at Ray Poland & Sons Construction, and stole a fuel card, acetylene torch glasses, a Hiliti battery powered impact gun, a Hilti Rotorhammer, welding helmet, two keys, and a hard hat.
Luckily, police say they were able to plaster-cast a footprint officers found near the south area of the lot.
Officers say a thief also prowled a convertible Audi A4 on Columbia Drive by slashing the soft top. Officers say they found a set of keys at the scene, and found to wallets one block away from a burglary at A-Z Towing.
Officers say someone also cut the lock on a fence gate on 1st Avenue and stole several pieces of cut galvanized, black iron and stainless steel pipe. At Action Towing on Deschutes, police say someone cut the fence and broke a window out of a customer's car.
Police say Monday night, a thief jumped over the barbed wire fence at A-Z Towing and broke into two cars and a boat. Police say the person tried to break into the building, but was unsuccessful, and eventually got away with a car stereo.
Lastly, police say employees at Apollo Inc found their front gate disassembled and wide open Tuesday morning, with an Apollo work van, full of tools, stolen.
Investigators say they are following up on several tips through Crime Stoppers, and have leads on who the group of burglars may be.
On Tuesday, detectives say they're also executing two search warrants in connection with these cases.
