Help "Fill the Rig" for Families Struggling Through the Holidays

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA. - Employees and customers at Meyers Auto Tech in Kennewick are doing what they can to help feed the hungry in our area.

For the eighth straight year, they're filling up their rig with donations of non-perishable food items. They want to fill up the Meyers Auto Tech Scion from the floorboards to the roof rack with all the soup, pasta, and cereal it can hold.

The shop's owner says he sympathizes with families who are struggling through the holidays.

"There was certainly a time where we didn't have anything near what we have today. We struggled and we crawled and we did whatever we had to do, and it's not easy," said Scott Meyers, Co-Owner of Meyer's Auto Tech.

You can help them fill the rig by dropping off a donation at their shop located just off Canal Drive. If you make a donation, you'll get a coupon for $10 off any service at Meyers.
