UPDATE: KHQ was the only television news crew that responded to the chase on Thursday. It all started when police spotted a stolen Volkswagen GTI.

When they tried to pull the vehicle over the male driver took off.  After the chase the male driver jumped out of the vehicle in the area of 13th & Lindeke and ran down an embankment where he was caught.

The female passenger never got out of the car but does have a warrant for car theft. Both the passenger and the driver were arrested.
