KHQ EXCLUSIVE: Driver Rams 2 Patrol Cars While Trying To Get Away

UPDATE: KHQ was the only television news crew that responded to the chase on Thursday. It all started when police spotted a stolen Volkswagen GTI.

When they tried to pull the vehicle over the male driver took off.  After the chase the male driver jumped out of the vehicle in the area of 13th & Lindeke and ran down an embankment where he was caught. 

The female passenger never got out of the car but does have a warrant for car theft. Both the passenger and the driver were arrested.

UPDATE: On Thursday two people were arrested after a high speed chase. It ended in the area of 13th & Lindeke near Hwy. 195.

Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies tell KHQ that the male driver rammed at least two patrol vehicles before being taken into custody.

The female passenger required medical attention.

Feely posted the photo on Twitter Saturday. The photo shows him standing with his arm around his daughter and with the gun in his other hand, next to his daughter's date. But, some people thought he crossed a line.

    HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A 9-year-old boy died in an all-terrain vehicle crash on a rural road north of Boulder over the weekend.   The Montana Highway Patrol says the ATV went off Sloans Lane early Sunday afternoon and tipped onto its side. The boy was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.   His name has not been released.
