Kennewick Girl's Wish Comes True

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA - Wishes came true in Kennewick on Thursday night. A 14-year-old girl battling a life-threatening heart problem spent much of her young life in and out of hospitals. But, those experiences made the people helping her along the way her heroes.

Now, thanks to Make-A-Wish Washington, Samantha gets to be a nurse for a day. She heads to Seattle on Friday to the University of Washington Medical Center.

When asked what she is most excited for, Samantha answered "To see everybody there and to see the nurse and the kids and the babies. Especially the little babies. They're cute."

Make-A-Wish organizers want to thank PF Changs, Let's Party, and Northwest Uniforms for helping make Samantha's wish come true.
