YAKIMA, WA -- On Tuesday the Yakima City Council will decide if they will authorize parking citation write-offs for the city of Yakima.

Right now there are a total of 187 citations valued at about $6,500.00

If city council decides to authorize the write-offs, citations that reached their six-year statute of limitations or ones that are voided and uncollectable will be canceled.

Citations to people who filed bankruptcy or belonging to people who passed away will be written off also.
