Alternative Gift Fair in Pasco Allows You to Give Back to Community

UPDATE (12/9/13): The 2013 Alternative Gift Fair raised $17,898 for charity in about four hours.  

This brings the total raised by the fair over seven years to more than $111,000. 


PASCO, WA - Anyone looking to give back to the community may enjoy a holiday event this weekend.

At the Alternative Gift Fair, you can donate to participating local, national, and international non-profit organizations. Local organizations attending include Cork's Place, Domestic Violence Services, Doctors Without Borders, Friends of Badger, Prevent Homeless Pets, and a Youth Suicide Prevention Program.

The fair also offers hand-lettered holiday cards designed by local artists that can be send to family and friends. There will also be a bake sale.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church. (2819 W. Sylvester Street, Pasco)
