    SPOKANE, Wash. - The convictions of some Washington residents for growing marijuana near Kettle Falls may soon be erased. That's after federal prosecutors say they shouldn't have spent money on the trial of the so-called Kettle Falls Five. The Spokesman-Review says that decision came more than two years after prosecutors convinced a federal judge they had the authority to try the medical marijuana growers.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - More than 100 veterans will leave Spokane next week for Washington D.C. on the largest Honor Flight ever out of the Inland Northwest.  9 WWII veterans, 37 Korean War veterans and 55 Vietnam War veterans, an all-time record, will leave Spokane Monday morning for D.C., and return Tuesday evening.

    CHEWELAH, Wash.- Wednesday evening, Chewelah Police Officers, assisted by Stevens County Sheriff’s Deputies, responded to a domestic violence call where the suspect reportedly assaulted his wife and would not allow her to leave their residence, in the 800 block of W. Robert Avenue in Chewelah.
