Franklin County Sheriff's Office Looking For Second Suspect in Drive-By Shooting

FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting Sunday.

On Sunday, sheriff's deputies, detectives and Connell Police were called out to shooting on Hendricks Road, about 40 miles north of Pasco.

A Pasco man told deputies he was driving on Hendricks Road near Scootney Road with a child in his vehicle, when two men drove by him and started shooting. The victim's vehicle was only hit once and luckily, no one was hurt.

Several bullet casings were found at the scene of the shooting.

On Thursday, deputies arrested one suspect, 45-year-old Carlos Medel in Grandview. A vehicle was impounded during the arrest.

Medel was booked into the Franklin County Jail for aggravated assault.
