PASCO, WA - Chiawana takes home their first ever state title after an amazing finish to a very close game.

We caught up with some of the players and coaches Sunday as they returned home. The Riverhawks were still in shock and disbelief as they described what was running through their heads during the game and of course in the last minute of the game when everything changed.

"When Winn was up for field goal I was actually laying on the ground just praying that he would make it," said Austin Arndt who plays on the team. "I was crying. I just didn't know that to do with myself when we won. I was just wandering around yelling and screaming."

"A lot of people are just all over the place just trying to process what just happened because it probably will go down as one of the craziest games state championship wise ever," said Brad Anderson a volunteer coach. "I mean we scored 14 points in 55 seconds."
