UPDATE: Adams Elementary School Closed On Tues.

UPDATE: School will be closed on Tuesday as well at Adams Elementary for clean up after some pipes froze. It's not clear if the school will re-open on Wed. We'll keep you posted.

UPDATE: Adams Elementary in the Central Valley School District is CLOSED today because of frozen pipes, heads up.

UPDATE: The Troy School District in Troy, ID is CLOSED today because of broken pipes. It's not clear when the school district will re-open. We'll post more details as we get them.

Some eastern Idaho schools close over cold weather

KHQ.COM - Several Idaho school districts are closing schools as temperatures dip below zero across much of the state. Boise School District officials warned parents that some buses were running late because of the cold snap.
    
The temperature was around 8 degrees below zero across much of the southern half of the state, dipping to 13 degrees below zero in Ashton on Monday morning.

Multiple smoke columns were visible as pockets of unburned vegetation burned within the fire perimeter. The fire was active in the Gold Creek and also the Leecher Mountain Lookout areas, but ground crews and air support helped slow the rate of spread.More >>
