RICHLAND, WA - Computer skills are quickly becoming an essential part of everyday life.

The Richland Public Library is now offering free Microsoft courses for anyone interested in beefing up their technological skills set.

The courses are offered online for all Washington residents.

You can register using the Richland Public Library's website.

Everything from basic courses on how to set up an e-mail account, to advanced certificates in software programming are being offered.

"Even though Tri-Cities is a fortunate area generally, we're still concerned about the digital divide and people increasingly needing technology skills in order to get employed and not know how to get them," get Ann Roseberry, Richland Public Library Manager.

If you need help enrolling or want more information you can call the Richland Public Library or just stop by.
