Monahan’s best games came against Whitworth’s toughest competition. He had ten tackles, three pass deflections and an interception against second-ranked Linfield on October 19th. Against nationally-ranked Pacific Lutheran on November 9th Monahan had eight tackles, seven solo, and a pass breakup. He accounted for three takeaways (two interceptions and a fumble recovery) in a win at Puget Sound on October 26th.

Monahan will now turn his attention to track and field, where he is the two-time defending Northwest Conference champion in the 110 meter hurdles.
