NBCRightNow.com - Here's the recipe for chef Brian Hodges' BBQ Dry Rub!

1 Tablespoon salt
1 Tablespoon paprika
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon garlic salt
1 Tablespoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon thyme, dried
1 Tablespoon oregano, dried
1 Tablespoon white sugar
2 Tablespoons brown sugar

Add all of your ingredients to a bowl and combine.  The rub will stay fresh for several months in an airtight container in a cool, dry spot in your kitchen.

This rub can be used on beef, chicken, pork and even fish!  You can even use it as a seasoning salt (just take out the sugar) for other recipes!
