UNION GAP, WA - Splash Express Car Wash on Valley Mall Boulevard collected Toys for Tots all day Thursday.

Marines were there to collect the toys and also to show off some of their military gear.

They said everything that is donated goes back into the community.

"All the money we receive, we find out next week what toys we are short on and what age groups, and then we'll take that money and we'll go to local businesses and we'll buy those toys and then give them out on our distribution day on the 19th," said Gunnery Sgt. Darrell Penyak.

The car wash also donated an additional $3.00 for every person who got a car washed after dropping off a toy.

Splash Express Car Wash will be taking Toys for Tots donations through next Monday.
