2 Stolen Cars this Morning

Case Number: 13-39588 & 13-39593
Date and Time of Incident: The Morning of December 12, 2013
Location of Incident: East Kennewick

Summary of Incident: Kennewick, Wa.
13-39588 - 1200 block of W 7th Ave. Victim, Sawpal Nee age 38 of Kennewick, left his car parked unlocked and unattended while it was warming up at 6:00 am this morning. When he returned it was gone. The car is described as a 2000 dark green Honda Accord 4 door. We believe that this vehicle may have been involved in a Hit & Run Accident a short time later in the same area.

13-39593 - Circle K (10th & Washington) - Car was left unattended and running in the parking lot. Suspect, a white female, was seen getting into the car and driving it away. The car is described as a red with brown top, 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider. The victim is Jose Ignacio Sanchez Dominguez age 39 of Kennewick.

The Kennewick Police have notified neighboring law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the vehicles.

This is a common theme when the weather gets cold like it is now. Victims will leave their car running, unlocked and unattended to warm up only to find that an opportunistic thief has driven away in their vehicle.
