C-Shift
 
Warrant Arrest/3400 blk W 7th Ave-
A distraught female called in saying, he has
warrants and he is leaving. He was identified and found to have 6 warrants. He was
contacted as he attempted to leave and was taken into custody without incident and
was booked.
 
Theft from Vehicle/1500 blk W 24th Lp-
Complainant reported he is in town from Idaho
visiting his parents. Last night he left his vehicle parked in the driveway of the location.  3
When he got to his vehicle this morning he found the rear hatch partially ajar and items
missing from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. He had left his camera bag in
the vehicle which was now missing. The bag contained a Nikon D7000 camera $1000, a
Sigma 150-500mm lens $1200, a Tokia 11-16mm lens $600 and a Nikon 35mm lens
$250. No leads or suspects.
 
Vehicle Prowl/400 blk W 27th Ave- Complainant reported that sometime during the
night an unknown suspect rummaged through the passenger compartment of her
vehicle, but nothing was taken. She believes she forgot to lock the vehicle after
returning home from shopping. No leads or suspects.
 
Vehicle Prowl/3600 blk S Newport Pl- Complainant reported that sometime during the
night an unknown suspect entered her vehicle and stole her purse which she found
along side of her house. Taken from the purse were ID, Credit cards and medication as
well as her wallet. No leads or suspects.
 
Trespass/1600 blk S Rainier- Officers responded to the area of 19th and Rainer for a
male who was said to be running in the roadway, flagging down vehicles, stating that
someone was trying to kill him. While attempting to locate the subject a resident in the
1600 blk S Rainier stated the subject had attempted to enter his garage but ran off when
he was seen and confronted by the home owner. The subject, a 27 year old male, was
located a few blocks away and detained. He was clearly under the influence, and was
having delusional thoughts about being killed. He was cleared at Trios and later booked
at the BCSO Jail for Trespassing.
 
Warrant Arrest/1000 blk W 10th- As the result of a traffic stop the driver was contacted.
A records check showed three felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant for his
arrest. He was arrested and booked without incident.
 
Malicious Mischief/500 blk S Union St- Complainant reported he had just reported a
broken window about two days ago and was now reporting more broken glass. He
checked the location at about 0900hrs today to find an east facing glass door to the
location to be broken after the unknown suspect threw several river rocks at the glass
door. The door shattered but stayed intact. No leads or suspects.
 
Warrant Arrest/6th & Alder- While on patrol, Officer Riley contacted a male who was
walking in traffic. A record check returned with a misdemeanor warrant for NVOL
without ID out of Franklin County and one felony warrant for disorderly conduct. He
was arrested and booked at the FCSO Jail.
 
A-Shift
 
Aggravated Assault/1300 blk W 4th Ave-
On 12/10/2013 at 2210 hours Kennewick
Police officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area of 4th Ave. and  4
Olympia St. Officers searched the area extensively but were unable to locate any
victims or evidence.
 
On 12/11/2013 at approximately 0100 hours the Kennewick Police were notified of a
male gunshot victim at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco. The male had been brought to
the hospital by person vehicle for treatment of a gunshot wound to the lower body. The
male sustained no life threatening injuries and was treated and released.
 
The Kennewick Police have identified that the shooting occurred near the Grocery
Outlet parking lot located at 1325 W. 4th Ave. At this time the incident is still under
investigation.
 
 
Auto Theft/1000 blk S Alder Lp
- Officer Melone contacted male in reference to an auto
theft report. He reported that a week ago he rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Pasco.
He returned to his residence with the vehicle along with his friend. He reported that he
went into the restroom and when he returned the friend and the vehicle were gone. He
has spent the last week trying to track his friend down but has been unsuccessful. The
vehicle, 2013 Toyota Yaris (CA/ 6WNE417) has been entered as stolen.
 
CAT
 
Warrant Arrest/100 blk E 13TH Ave-
Detectives received information that several
wanted people were at this address. Detectives contacted three subjects. One was
arrested for 8 warrants, another was arrested for 3 warrants and one was arrested for 1
warrant. All three were booked into Benton County Jail.
